Revealed! This is how much Rajinikanth charged for Kabali

The buzz around Rajinikanth starrer Kabali is only getting bigger and bigger. The PA Ranjith directorial, which is slated to release on Friday, 22 July, is produced by Kalaipuli S Thanu under the banner of V Creations. The action-thriller also stars Radhika Apte, Dhansika, and Kishore.

In a recent interview to a leading daily, S Thanu revealed the actual budget of Kabali. The producer stated that he made the Rajini starrer with a whopping budget of Rs 110 crore.

And now, according to media reports, Rajinikanth has been paid a bomb to star in Kabali. Reportedly, the Thalaiva has been paid around Rs 35 crore as fees for the action thriller. Wait, there's more!

Around Rs 45 crore from the first week collections of Kabali is speculated to be part of Rajinikanth's remuneration. So that's a massive Rs 80 crore for one film. But if you're Rajinikanth, it's hardly surpring.
