Thalaivar turns Aamir down

One of the most awaited Bollywood films of the year, Aamir Khan starrer Dangal, is slated to be released soon. Directed by Nitesh Tiwari and jointly produced by Aamir Khan and Siddharth Roy Kapur, the film is based on the true story of former wrestler-turned-coach, Mahavir Singh Phogat.

To make it bigger than what it already is, Aamir Khan is said to have requested none other than the legendary star of the south, Rajinikanth to dub for his character in teh Tamil version of the film.

"Aamir had arranged for a private screening of

for Rajinikanth sir and also requested him to dub for his character for the Tamil version of Dangal. Although moved by the film, Rajini sir politely turned down the offer," a source told IANS.

It was previously reported that the makers are also releasing the Tamil dubbed version of

along with its original version on
