Rajinikanth's gangster drama, Kabali, is slated to hit the screens soon. The Pa Ranjith directorial, produced by Kalaipuli S Thanu, will see the Thalaiva play an ageing don. The film also stars Radhika Apte, Kalaiarasan, Dinesh, and Ritwika.
Catch had previously reported that the makers of Kabali plan to simultaneously release the film in Malay, Tamil, Telugu, and Hindi - a first for a Tamil film.
According to the latest updates, the Malay version of Kabali will be released in 480 screens in Malaysia. Abdul Malik Dashtigeer of Malik Streams Corporation, who bought the distribution rights for Malaysia, confirmed the news.
Over 40% of the film was shot in Malaysia. Kabali also features over 1,000 Malaysian actors.The film is expected to release on 22 July 2016.
