The much-awaited film of the year, Rajinikanth starrer Kabali is slated to hit the screens soon. The megastar starrer was earlier scheduled to release in April but was later postponed as the date coincided with those of the Assembly Elections in Tamil Nadu.
Kabali's new release date - 1 July, 2016, has been circulating on all social networks since Saturday morning. News of the new release date was heartening for Tamil cinema lovers, especially Thalaiva fans as they were waiting for the same ever since the teaser was released.
However, latest buzz from Kollywood industry is that the makers are yet to take an official call on the film's release date. The producer of the film, Kalaipuli S Thanu, active on Twitter, has not yet tweeted anything about the mega-budget film's release date.
