Rajinikanth back in Chennai, will join Akshay Kumar to resume Enthiran 2 shooting

Thalaiva fans in India have a reason to rejoice as Rajinikanth is back in Chennai. The megastar finally reached Chennai on Sunday night after a two-month-long vacation in US.

Reportedly, the Thalaiva will be joining the sets of Shankar's Enthiran 2 by August second week. According to media reports, the first sequence between Rajinikanth and Bollywood actor Akshay Kumar will be filmed in the city. Earlier, Catch had reported that two major fight sequences, including the climax scene featuring both the actors have been filmed in Chennai.

Meanwhile, Rajinikanth is expected to attend the success party of his mega-hit Kabali on Tuesday. The PA Ranjith directorial has crossed the coveted Rs 200-crore mark worldwide within the opening weekend itself to become the fastest Indian film to do so.
