One of the most anticipated movies of this decade, 2.0, a sequel to Enthiran (2010), made news once more recently when it was speculated that the official first look of the film will be out in September. The Shankar directorial features music by AR Rahman with Rajinikanth returning to his Enthiran (Robot) avatar, and Akshay Kumar making his Kollywood debut.
Now the latest buzz is that Enthiran 2 is all set to be dubbed in Mandarin, the official language of China. Reportedly, robotic thriller films are very popular in China and the makers have decided to release their magnum opus-opus in China as well.
Enthiran 2 will be one of the most expensive Indian film ever as the makers have confirmed that it will be a Rs 350 crore project. Produced by Subaskaran Allirajah, chairman and founder of Lyca Mobile/Productions, 2.0 will be releasing in 2017.
