Rajeev Ravi - Dulquer Salmaan's Kammattipaadam to release on 20 May

After the super success of Kali, Dulquer Salmaan is all set to hit the screens on 20 May with Kammattipaadam, directed by national-award winner Rajeev Ravi.

Kammattipaadam - said to be a period drama - also marks the acting debut of model Shaun Romy. The film, which was initially slated to release on 6 May, also stars Vinayakan, Vinay Forrt, Shine Tom Chacko and Amalda Liz.

Dulquer took to Facebook to confirm the release date. He posted:

"#‎Kammattipaadam‬ coming to theatres near you this May 20th! The film has amazing actors doing some stellar performances. I'm extremely fortunate to have shared screen space with all of them. It's a long cherished film for Rajeevettan and something he's been dreaming up for a long time. Can't wait for all of you to watch it!"

According to a recent report, Dulquer has shed about 15 kg for his character.

With Kammattipaadam, Dulquer will be looking to maintain his impeccable Box Office record and score a hattrick after the superhits that were his December 2015 release, Charlie and the March 2016 release, Kali.
