Raja 2 : Mammootty, Vysakh team up for Tomichan Mulakupadam film

Malayalam superstar Mammootty and director Vysakh are all set to team up for a new film, titled Raja 2. The actor-director duo's previous film Pokkiri Raja was a huge blockbuster at the Box Office. Written by Udhayakrishna and bankrolled by Tomichan Mulakupadam of Pulimurugan fame, the film is set to be an out and out mass entertainer.

On New year day, Vysakh took to his Facebook page to share the news.

"Happy New Year To All. I would like to share this happy news that after a gap of 7-years, Mammookka and myself are teaming up for a new film, titled Raja 2. And it's not a sequel to our 2010 blockbuster, Pokkiri Raja. Produced by Tomichan Mulakupadam under his banner Mulakupadam release, Raja 2 will be made in a huge scale and will be Mammookka's biggest film till date. The film will have renowned Indian technicians and will be released simultaneously in Malalyalam, Tamil and Telugu as well. Raja 2 will be a complete mass entertainer with equal dose of action and humor in it. There will be plenty of mass scenes that is sure to be enjoyed by children and family audience alike".

The details of other cast members are yet to be finalised.
