PV Sindhu and Prabhas are the only South Indian public figures among the top 10 most influential Indians list

Telugu speaking people have double reasons to rejoice as two of their most loved stars have managed to find a spot among the top 10 most influential Indians list of the year. The list, conducted by GQ India magazine, was only for influential young Indians under the age of 40.

Much to the delight of Telugu people, Olympic Silver medalist P.V. Sindhu and the Baahubali superstar Prabhas have been ranked at No.1 and No.6 positions respectively. Sindhu, who became the first Indian woman to win a Silver medal at Olympics is also the youngest Indian among the list. For Prabhas, it is yet another recognition after becoming the first South Indian actor to have wax statue at Madame Tussauds.
