Premam: Malare song featuring Nivin Pauly crosses 10 million YouTube views

Malayalam blockbuster Premam, which released on 29 May, 2015, was last year's highest grosser. Produced by Anwar Rasheed on a medium budget of Rs 4 crore, the romantic film went on to collect a record Rs 42 crore at the Kerala Box Office and became the second all-time highest grosser ever after Mohanlal's Drishyam.

Premam is a landmark in Nivin Pauly's career as the actor achieved super stardom with the film. After Premam, his next films, Action Hero Biju and Jacobinte Swargarajyam were also massive hits at the Box Office. The love story also marks the debut of three promising actresses: Anupama Parameshwaran, Sai Pallavi and Madonna Sebastian.

Just like the film, the music was also a big hit with the audience. The album had nine songs and all of them were chartbusters. It was a runaway winner for best music at all Film awards last year. The super hit music has been composed by Rajesh Murugesan.

Premam is nearing the successful completion of 1 year and now the film has achieved another milestone. The chartbuster song, Malare, has crossed the coveted 1 crore views on You Tube.​ The beautiful song, which is sung by Vijay Yesudas, son of legendary singer Yesudas, is penned by actor Shabareesh Varma. The song not just made Vijaythe talk of the town but also won him the Best Singer trophy at all popular movie awards of 2015.

The hit song was also praised for the excellent chemistry between Nivin Pauly and Sai Pallavi. The character Malar, portrayed by Sai Pallavi became an instant hit overnight, with the song. The romantic song was appreciated by the Tamil audience as well.
