Only three people know why Kattapa killed Baahubali

The shooting for the climax war sequence of the Baahubali 2: The Conclusion is currently underway in Hyderabad.

Director SS Rajamouli and his team are pulling out all the stops to ensure that work on the film is wrapped up before October.

Catch had previously reported that the shooting for the scene where Kattappa kills Baahubali was wrapped up in Hyderabad. Our sources have revealed that only three people in the Baahubali 2 team have been told about the reason behind the much-debated onscreen death.

These three are Rajamouli, his father and screen-writer Vijayendra Prasad and lead actor Prabhas. Even the reel Kattappa, actor Sathyaraj, has no idea why his popular character killed Baahubali.

According to reports, team Baahubali 2 are keeping the details of the death closely guarded as it is an important plot point of the successful Baahubali franchise.

Meanwhile, the first look of the film is slated to be revealed on Prabhas' birthday, 23 October. Baahubali 2: The Conclusion will hit the screens on 28 April 2017.
