Odiyan is a complete mass entertainer with Mohanlal's punch dialogues, Peter Hein's top action sequences, says VA Shrikumar Menon

The official launch event of Mohanlal's upcoming fantasy adventure, Odiyan was held in Thiruvananthapuram on Wednesday morning. The film, which stars Lalettan in the titular role of Odiyan Manikkan will mark the directorial debut of ad film maker VA Shrikumar of Kalyan Jewellers fame. Written by Harikrishnan Kornath, Odiyan stars Manju Warrier in the female lead and also stars Prakash Raj in a significant role.

The star studded event was also attended by Mohanlal's son Pranav Mohanlal and director Jeethu Joseph of Drishyam fame as well as the occasion also marked the official launch of Pranav Mohanlal's debut film, Aadhi.

During the launch, VA Shrikumar had confirmed that his film will be a complete mass entertainer with five top action sequences, choreographed by Peter Hein of Pulimurugan fame. He also shared that Odiyan will have five songs composed by MA Jayachandran along with some punch dialogues of Mohanlal, which are definitely going to catch the attention of every moviegoers. He also thanked the film producer Antony Perumbavoor for bank-rolling a Mohanlal film with a debutant director like him.

VA Shrikumar also revealed that his daughter Lakshmi Shrikumar Menon is also making her singing debut in Odiyan.

Meanwhile, the motion poster of Odiyan has created an all India records within 2 days of its release. The motion poster of the Mohanlal film has clocked a whopping 4 million views within 48 hours to emerge as the fastest Indian film motion poster to do so. The motion poster features Mohanlal in an altogether different look as he can be seen in a clean-shaven look with a different hairstyle.
