Not Akshay Kumar, it's Amitabh Bachchan teaming up with Chiranjeevi in the war-drama Sye Raa Narasimha Reddy

The makers of Chiranjeevi's upcoming film Sye Raa Narashima Reddy has announced the cast and crew details. The announcement was happened on Tuesday morning, on the occasion of Chiranjeevi's birthday. Sye Raa Narashima Reddy, which is said to be a story of a freedom fighter has been directed by Surender Reddy and produced by Chiranjeevi's son and Telugu actor Ram Charan

Earlier, there were reports that Bollywood actor Akshay Kumar has been finalized to portray an important role in the film.

However with Tuesday's announcement, it has been confirmed that the news was nothing but a rumor as the makers have announced none other than legendary Bollywood actor Amitab Bachchan to feature in the film along with the Tollywood superstar. What's more? The film also stars an ensemble star cast including Nayanthara, Vijay Sethupathi, Kicha Sudeep, Jagapati Babu, Nassar, Ravi Kishan and Mukesh Rishi.

The music of Sye Raa Narashima has been composed by AR Rahman.
