The recently released film of Malayalam superstar Nivin Pauly -- Action Hero Biju -- has been declared a hit and is still running to packed houses. However, when the film released on 4 February, it stood on shaky ground.

The first show of the film opened to good collections all over Kerala. But a section of people started to defame the film by posting negative reviews and spreading false news like 'No Action In Action Hero Biju, film is a flop film'. The negativity surrounding the film was so high that it was visible in its collections right from the noon shows. It can be assumed that the plan was to restrict the rise of the young star.

Nivin Pauly is currently at the peak of his career delivering blockbusters one after another including his last two films Oru Vadakkan Selfie and Premam. Several posts such as 'Action Hero Biju is Flop' were circulated through various fake profiles on Facebook claiming Nivin Pauly's fans have given bad reviews to the film.

The 'negative' propaganda around the film affected its weekend collections to a large extent.

However, this negativity failed to work from Monday onwards as cinema lovers realised that the film was made well. Many people within industry came forward to support him. The best support came in the form of Assistant Superintendent Of Police, Merin Joseph.
