After the super success of Sarrainodu, Allu Arjun has signed his next film with director Hari Shankar, of Gabbar Singhand Subramanyam For Sale fame. Touted as an action entertainer, the untitled film will be bankrolled by Dil Raju.
According to Telugu media reports, the makers are in talks with Pooja Hegde to sign on as the female lead in the film. Pooja, who did her acting debut in 2012 with Mysskin's Tamil film Mughamoodi, will soon be debuting in Bollywood with Ashutosh Gowariker's magnum opus Mohenjo Daroopposite superstar Hrithik Roshan.
Apparently, it was the trailer of Mohenjo Daro that impressed the Telugu makers so much that they approached Pooja to play the lead opposite the Bunny star.
Reportedly, Allu Arjun will be seen in a new role in the film, which is slated to release in the summer of 2017.
The film also marks the third outing of the Telugu superstar-hit producer duo after blockbustersArya and Parugu. Devi Sri Prasad's name has been finalised as the composer of the film.
