Mohanlal's Pulimurugan is continuing its remarkable run at the Kerala Box Office. The action-entertainer, which had already emerged as the all-time Malayalam blockbluster is creating new milestones with each passing day at the Kerala Box Office.
Earlier, Catch had reported that the Lalettan-starrer surpassed the life-time collections of his 2014 blockbuster Drishyam to emerge as the top industry hit of Malayalam cinema.
And now, the 4-time-National award winner has added yet another feather to his cap as Pulimurugan emerged the first Malayalam film to enter the coveted Rs 50 crore club at the Kerala Box Office. The numbers are extraordinary considering that Malayalam films normally release in the range of 180 - 225 screens across Kerala.
Meanwhile, Pulimurugan is slated to be released in the Middle East on 3 November. Directed by Vysakh and produced by Tommy Mulakuppadam, the film stars Lalettan in the titular role of a hunter, Murugan. The Malayalam blockbuster also stars Bengali actress Kamalini Mukherjee and Telugu actor Jagapati Babu.
