In an exclusive interview to Catch, popular Kannada actress Neha Saxena revealed that she's making her Mollywood debut with the Mammootty starrer, Kasaba Police. The actress who is riding high in 2016 with the Kannada hit Game and Telugu-Kannada bilingual hit Dandu, is excited to work with the superstar of Malayalam cinema.

"I am very excited to be a part of a Malayalam film, that too as a heroine opposite megastar Mammootty Sir. Yes, I am paired with Mammootty Sir in Kasaba. I can't think of a better debut than this in Malayalam cinema. I always had this dreams in my eyes that one day I should work with this Megastar and I can't express in words how happy and how blessed I am feeling right now. Previously also I had a chance of working with him for a magazine cover page. He is a wonderful human being and a very professional artist." said Neha
Neha won acclaim for her performance in the Tulu film, Rickshaw Driver in 2013 and went on to win multiple awards including the Karnataka state award as well. Her short film, Kamala, was also well received.
Nithin Renji Panicker, son of screenwriter-turned-actor Renji Panicker, is making his directorial debut with this film. Nithin, who has earlier worked as assistant director to Shaji Kailas said his film will be an action flick, but different from his father's style of films, best known for their memorable dialogues.

Mammootty will essay the role of a police officer in what is touted to be a comic thriller. The actor is sporting a new look for the film. Nithin is also penning the script for the film, which will also mark the acting debut of Varalaxmi Sarath Kumar, the daughter of Tamil actor Sarath Kumar.
Reportedly, the film is set for a Ramadan release.
