After a fabulous day 1, Bollywood superstar Akshay Kumar's film Rustom set the Box Office on fire on the second day by minting more than Rs 16 crore at the Box Office. The film has so far minted Rs 31 crore from two days of its theatrical release despite losing a majority of the screens to Hrithik Roshan starrer Mohenjo Daro.

However, a section of critics was not impressed by the movie and gave it negative reviews. Some of them even called it a soul-less film.

But on Sunday afternoon, popular Malayalam director-actor, Vineeth Sreenivasan took to his Facebook page to blast the critics for giving negative reviews to Rustom. The super hit producer, who had delivered 2016's biggest Malayalam blockbuster with Nivin Pauly starrer Jacobinte Swargarajyam, also stated that the Akshay Kumar film is a must watch film for 'normal people, not for intellectuals'.

This is what he quoted:

Replying to his fans, Vineeth also added:

Reviewing is an art. It's a responsibility. I have nothing against real intellectuals. In fact we need more people like that. I only have problems with pseudo intellectuals. They spread negativity. They try to kill cinema. I still read reviews. It helps me understand different perspectives. But sometimes they just kill a film and make u stay away from it when there is a chance that u might like it.

Looks like Rustom is all set to become a hit at Kerala Box Office as well.
