Mahesh Babu beats Rajinikanth and Khans as SPYder set to become the 2nd biggest Indian release in US!
The USA fans of Telugu actor Mahesh Babu have all reasons to rejoice as their actor's upcoming film SPYder is all set to have a massive release in the country. The film, tipped to be a Telugu-Tamil bilingual sci-fi thriller, marks the Tamil debut of the Telugu superstar. Directed by AR Murugadoss of Ghajini and Thuppakki, SPYder stars Rakul Preet Singh in the female lead.
SPYder is set have a huge theatrical release in US as well. The Mahesh Babu starrer will be releasing in a massive number of 600 screens in US. While the Telugu version of SPyder is slated to release in 260 locations, Tamil version will be released in 150 locations across the US. And with such a big release, SPYder is all set to be the 2nd biggest Indian release in US after SS Rajamouli's Baahubali 2. It's a remarkable feat considering that even Rajinikanth films and Khans' films have failed to get such number of screens in US.
The premiere of SPYder is also scheduled to begin on September 26 at 12 PST.
