Kollywood: Vijay to learn Nellai slang for his 60th film

The second shooting schedule of Ilayathalapathy's Vijay 60 is currently in progress in Hyderabad. The film, written and directed by Bharathan, will feature Ilayathalapathy in a double role. Touted as action family entertainer, Vijay 60 will star Keerthy Suresh - ofRajini Murugan fame - as the female lead opposite Vijay.

According to the latest update, the superstar is currently busy learning Nellai, a Tamil slang, for the film. The plot of Vijay 60 is set in the backdrop of Thirunelveli district in Tamil Nadu. One of the characters Vijay will be playing will speak the Nellai slang .

Director Bharathan, who has previously directed Vijay in his first dual-role film, Azhagiya Tamil Magan, is planning to complete the entire Hyderabad schedule in 25 days. Veteran Telugu actor Jagapati Babu has been roped in to play the antagonist. The film also stars Aparna Vinod, YG Mahendraa and Daniel Balaji.
