Kerala: Shocking! TV actress befriends man on shooting set, rapes her at her residence; shares obscene pics on WhatsApp

In a shameful incident, an elderly TV actress was allegedly raped by a man she befriended on a shooting set in Kerala. According to a report, the 51-year-old victim reached out to the police and complaint that the accused has purportedly shared the obscene pictures of the act. The victim has registered a complaint with the Kayamkulam police.

According to the complaint filed by the victim, the accused first entered her house and raped her. The victim is a well known Malayalam TV serial actor. The incident took place allegedly in October 2018. The accused met victim on set and befriended each other.

The victim states that the accused first entered her house and then in a hotel in Thottappally and raped her. The accused had fled the country 12 days ago.

According to the complainant, the accused man told her that he was from Mallappuram but had later changed it to Ernakulam. He had also shared the pictures of the obscene act were allegedly shared by the accused on WhatsApp, including her husband and friends.

The accused has been booked under Section 376 of the Indian Penal Code (IPC) for punishment for rape and under the IT Act, said police official at the Kayamkulam police station to The News Minute.
