The much-awaited Malayalam summer release of 2016, Dulquer Salmaan's Kammattipaadam will hit the screens tomorrow. Produced by Prem Mohan and directed by national award winner Rajeev Ravi, the action entertainer revolves around the story of Krishnan, a 40-year-old man who lives in Mumbai.
As expected, the advance booking for the film started on a huge note as the tickets of the Dulquer-starrer have been snatched up in most cinemas across the state. The craze for the film is so high that, at few cinemas, special shows are being arranged due to public demand. At some cinemas, Kammatipaadam shows will start at 7 am, which is very rare in Kerala.
From the Box Office perspective, Kammattipaadam will easily cross the Rs 2.32 crore mark, the all-time Malayalam record opener set by Dulquer's previous film Kali. But the real competition is whether Kammattipaadam tops the all-time opening record of Rs 3.30 crore set by the recently released blockbuster, Theri starring Vijay?
