​​Kerala Box Office​: ​Tough time ahead​ ​as 5 films are slated to clash today

The Kerala Box Office will witness another massive clash this weekend, with the release of five films. Three Malayalam films -- Oru Murai Vanthu Paarthaya, School Bus, and Yodhavu, Tamil film Idhu Namma Aalu and Hollywood animation film The Angry Birds releasing today.

Oru Murai Vanthu Paarthaya

The much-awaited Unni Mukundan-starrer, Oru Murai Vanthu Paarthaya marks the directorial venture of Sajan K Mathew and the Malayalam debut of actress Prayaga Rose Martin of Pisasufame. The film, which also stars Sanusha Santhosh as second female lead, is a love triangle between the three lead characters.

Oru Murai Vanthu Paarthaya looks like a refreshing family entertainer with elements of fun, romance, and drama . The music of the film was met with a positive response from the audience. Oru Murai Vanthu Paarthaya seems to be Unni Mukundan's big ticket to retain his stardom.

School Bus

Rosshan Andrrews directorial, School Bus is also slated to release tomorrow. The film stars Kuncacko Boban, Jayasurya and Aparna Gopinath as main leads. Child actors Akash and Angelina are also doing important roles in the film. Angeline is the daughter of director Rosshan Andrrews. Reportedly, the story revolves around two kids and the school bus in which they travel. For the first time in his career, actor Kunchacko Boban will be seen donning the role of a police officer.

Yodhavu

Yodhavu, the Malayalam-dubbed version of Allu Arjun's blockbuster Sarrainodu is also releasing tomorrow. The original version, directed by Boyapati Srinu had a worldwide release on 22 April 2016 and minted Rs. 100 crore at the Box Office. The action masala entertainer featured Rakul Preet Singh and Catherine Tresa as the female leads.

Idhu Namma Aalu

The fourth release of tomorrow is Idhu Namma Aalu, the comeback film of Silambarasan and Nayanthara. Directed by Pandiraj and produced by T Rajendhar, the film also marks the return of old lovers Silambarasan and Nayantara together on screen post their break-up. Idhu Namma Aalualso marks the Kollywood debut of Bollywood actress Adah Sharma. She will be essaying an important role in the film as the ex-lover of Silambarasan. The film is touted as a family entertainer.

Angry Birds

The last release of tomorrow is the Hollywood 3D animation film, The Angry Birds. Just like The Jungle Book, the upcoming film is also releasing on a good number of screens, especially at the Kochi multiplexes.
