Last Friday saw the release of Siddique-Lal's comedy entertainer, King Liar. And as expected, the Dileep-starrer set the Box Office on fire. Here's a round-up of the Kerala Box Office this week:

1) King Liar

There is no stopping superstar Dileep's King Liar at the Box Office. The Lal directorial is not just making people laugh, but is winning the Box Office race hands down. The film minted Rs 1.55 crore on Friday, Rs 1.64 crore on Saturday and Rs 1.77 crore on Sunday - leading to a fabulous opening weekend of Rs 4.96 crore. The reviews of the film are also on the positive side and the comedy looks set to become the first blockbuster of the year.

2) Kali

The Dulquer Salmaan-Sai Pallavi-starrer Kali registered a reasonable drop at the Box Office. After the historic opening weekend of Rs 5.71 crore, the film struggled on the weekdays. The combined total of weekdays (Monday-Thursday) is Rs 2.17 crore - which is quite low considering Kali's opening weekend collections. The film was expected to cross Rs 10 crore on it's first week itself, but managed to rake in only Rs 7.88 crore at the end of Week 1.

3) Darwinte Parinamam

With four super hit films in a row, actor Prithviraj seems to have finally found a speed breaker in his golden run at the Box Office. Darwinte Parinamam has proved to be an average fare with low collections throughout the second week. The total collection of the film after the end of Week 2 is Rs 7.06 crore - which is strictly average.

4) Action Hero Biju

Nivin Pauly's super hit film Action Hero Biju crossed the Rs 15 crore mark at the Box Office. The film performed reasonably well in its eighth weekend by adding few lakh to its total. This is the actor's sixth film to cross the magical Rs 15 crore mark at the Box Office. His previous films Oru Thattathin Marayathu, Neram, Bangalore Days, Oru Vadakkan Selfie and Premam were Rs 15 crore plus grossers at the Box Office.

Action Hero Biju is on its last legs at the Box Office as the coming Friday (8 April) will see the release of another Nivin Pauly release, Jacobinte Swargarjyam and Hollywood film Jungle Book followed by Theri on 14 April.
