Kabali vs Sultan: Rajinikanth film scorches YouTube, teaser crosses 10 million views in 72 hours!

In just one-minute, six seconds, Rajnikanth has proved why he is India's best loved superstar.

The official teaser of Thalaiva's upcoming film Kabali was released on 1 May at 11:00 AM. The one-minute-six-seconds teaser has gone viral since and has crossed the coveted 10 million views mark on You Tube, the fastest ever for an Indian film.

Another amazing feat is that the Stylemannan's teaser has made this record in less than 72 hours.

The previous record was held by the teaser of Salman Khan's Sultan, which garnered minted 10 million views in six days of being released on YouTube.

The Kabali teaser is the third Tamil film teaser to cross the 10 million YouTube views mark - after Vijay's Theri and Shankar's I.

Kabali features Rajinikanth in the role of a gangster - one that seems to be tailor-made to include some of the superstar's popular mannerisms. The teaser also features the trademark laugh and the phrase, Kabali Da, delivered by Thalaiva himself.

The film is all set to clash with Sultan at the Box Office on Eid, which is known to a lucky slot for Salman Khan's films.

Kabali has won the teaser round and it will be interesting to see the Box Office battle between two of India's biggest superstars on Eid.
