Janatha Garage opening weekend tickets sold out in Andhra Pradesh & Telangana

Malayalam superstar Mohanlal and Telugu superstar Jr NTR starrer Janatha Garage is slated to hit screens on Thursday, 1 September 2016. The advance online booking started on Monday and the response so far has been unprecedented, second only to 2015 blockbuster, SS Rajamouli's Baahubali: The Beginning.

Be it the cinemas of Andhra Pradesh or Telangana, there are no tickets available across screens as the tickets for the opening weekend have already been sold out. The advance booking for the Koratala Siva directorial has topped all the Telugu releases of the year including Pawan Kalyan's Sardaar Gabbar Singh and Allu Arjun's Sarrainodu. At some places, despite heavy rain, people have queued up to get tickets to the Jr NTR film. The distributors are also planning some special shows in Hyderabad and many celebrities are expected to watch the special shows.

Written and directed by Koratala Siva of Mahesh Babu blockbuster Srimanthudu fame, Janatha Garage marks the Telugu debut of Malayalam youth icon Unni Mukundan. The film also stars an ensemble cast including Samantha Ruth Prabhu, Nithya Menen, Sachin Khedekar, Devyani, Rahman and Vidisha Srivastava.
