2) Excellent response to teaser and trailer

The teaser and trailer of Jai Lava Kusa were well received among the audience upon its release. Especially, the teaser which featured Jr.NTR as an ardent worshiper of King Ravana. Both the teaser and trailer have succeeded to bring curiosity to the audience as they are not sure whether the said character is the hero or the antagonist role in the film.

3) South film debut of Ronit Roy

Jai Lava Kusa marks the South film debut of veteran Bollywood actor Ronit Roy. The actor will be portraying the main antagonist in the film. Villain roles are considered as tailor-made roles for Ronit Roy as the actor had showed his acting prowess as the same in Bollywood films like Boss and the recent release Kaabil. 

4) Devi Sri Prasad's music

The music of Jai Lava Kusa has been composed by Devi Sri Prasad and the songs have already received a big thumps from the audience. Especially, the item song 'Swing Zara' which featured the Baahubali actress Tamannaah Bhatia. The sizzling song has already turned to be a chart buster and will definitely attract more audience in the cinema halls on Thursday.

5) Increase in Jr.NTR's popularity post the success of Janatha Garage and Bigg Boss

Jr.NTR is currently at the peak of his career after the stupendous success of his previous release Janatha Garage. The 2016 film, which also featured Malayalam superstar Mohanlal, emerged as the first Rs. 100 crore blockbusters for both the actors and the highest Telugu grosser of 2016. Also, the increase in Jr.NTR's stardom courtesy his TV debut, the ongoing Telugu reality show, Bigg Boss will definitely work in favour of the actor to attract more family audience as well to the cinema halls.

Similar to Jr.NTR, Jai Lava Kusa is also the first release for Raashi Khanna in 2017 while the film also marks the second Telugu outing of Nivetha after her successful Telugu debut, Gentleman.
