Bollywood star Varun Dhawan's October is slated to hit the screens tomorrow. Directed by Shoojit Sircar of Vicky Donor and Pink fame and jointly produced by Ronnie Lahiri and Sheel Kumar, the romance drama marks the acting debut of Banita Sandhu.

In a recent interview, Varun Dhawan has stated that he loves to watch South Indian films. He also added that he is getting influenced by films like Arjun Reddy and Mercury. The Student Of The Year went on to add that Malayalam films are the king of content.

"We have not managed to capture the South market as much as we want to. Maybe if we actually start dubbing our films in the local language, we could. I love watching South Indian cinema, and I'm influenced by their choices. Films like Arjun Reddy or Mercury, for instance. Let's not even talk about how Malayalam films are the king of content, Varun Dhawan said.
