SS Rajamouli's Baahubali: The Beginning is the only South Indian film that managed to leave a strong impact at North India Box Office. Even the much-awaited Rajinikanth starrer Kabali was a faliure in North-Indian-circuits.

However, a lot of Hindi dubbed versions of Telugu films are ruling most North-Indian households, going by TRPs.

It was evident as most of the Hindi dubbed versions of Telugu films these days are crossing the numbers of Bollywood biggies including Shah Rukh Khan's films in North India.

In a recent report published by the Broadcast Audience Research Council India (BARC India), the Hindi dubbed versions of Telugu movies like Baahubali, S/O Satyamurthy and Nithiin's Ishq have topped last week's most watched movies on television across the North.

Surprisingly, all three dubbed versions of Telugu movies have reportedly surpassed the numbers of Bollywood films like SRK's Dilwale and the all-time classic Sholay.
