Here is why PM Narendra Modi appreciates Mohanlal and Akshay Kumar
Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi has appreciated Malayalam actor Mohanlal for taking part in Swachhata Hi Seva campaign and spreading cleanliness message in Kerala. Mohanlal inaugurated cleanliness campaign jointly organised by Institute of Management Accountants, Kerala Government Medical Officers' Association and Mohanlal Fans Association in Thiruvananthapuram.
The Malayalam superstar also took part in the cleaning drive at Gandhi Bhavan and Government Model School, Thycaud, Thiruvananthapuram. Mohanlal urged that the campaign needs to be carried forward forever.

Similar to Mohanlal, Bollywood superstar Akshay Kumar too spread the cleanliness message through his column 'Na aapse na mujhse, swachhta shuru hoti hai KHUD SE' in a leading daily.
Narendra Modi took to his Twitter account to appreciate both the national award winners of 2017.
"Excellent effort by noted actor @Mohanlal. #SwachhataHiSeva", Modi tweeted to Mohanlal.
"Well written @akshaykumar. Appreciate your steadfast support to the Swachh Bharat Mission", Modi tweeted to Akshay Kumar.
