Guru : Teaser of Venkatesh starrer released as his birthday treat
Popular Telugu superstar Daggubati Venkatesh celebrated his 56th birthday on December 13. To make the occasion more sweeter, the makers of his upcoming film, Guru have released the teaser of the film today. The 39-second-long teaser was released as a birthday treat for Venkatesh fans.
Guru is an official remake of Sudha Kongara Prasad's bilingual film titled Irudhi Suttruin Tamil and
Saala Khadoosin Hindi. Both the versions starred Madhavan and Ritika Singh in lead roles and were hits at the Box Office. The film tells the story of a boxing coach who trains a roadside fish selling girl and makes her a boxing champion. Venkatesh portrays the role of boxing coach done by Madhavan in its original while Ritika Singh will reprise her role in the Telugu remake.
The music of the film has been done by
Kabalicomposer Santhosh Narayanan.
Guruis scheduled to hit the screens on Republic Day weekend of 2017.
