Exclusive: Bodybuilding star Thakur Anoop Singh to make Tamil debut in Suriya's Singham 3

Bodybuilding champion and TV actor Thakur Anoop Singh is all set to make his Tamil film debut with the third installment of the Singham franchise.

The actor, who made his TV debut with the role of the blind king Dhritarashtra in the hit Mahabharat series, has been finalised as the main antagonist in Singham 3. Anoop is best known for bagging gold in the 2015 World bodybuilding champion in Thailand.

In an exclusive conversation with Catch, Anoop Singh opened up about his plum role in the Suriya-starrer. He also revealed that he would make his debut in Telugu, Kannada, Hindi and Marathi films soon. He said:

"Yes, I am making my Tamil debut with Singham 3. I am essaying the main antagonist role in the Suriya film. I have started shooting for the same. My role will be something audience hasn't seen before. And I'm happy to inform you that I'm making debut in 5 languages this year. Apart from Singham 3, I'm doing a Telugu film with Puri Jagannadh, a Kannada film, a Marathi film and a Bollywood film."

The final shooting schedule of Singham 3 is currently underway in Chennai. All portions of the film have been shot, except for the climax as well as the scenes with Anoop.

Singham 3, directed by Hari and produced by KE Gnanavel Raja, also stars Anushka Shetty and Shruti Haasan. The film is slated to release on Diwali 2016.
