Director Basil Joseph announced his next featuring Mammootty, Tovino Thomas minutes before his marriage

Young Malayalam director Basil Joseph, who made back-to-back hits with Kunjiramayanam and Godha, has announced his third film. Similar to his previous films, the untitled film will be jointly bankrolled by CV Sarathi, Mukesh R Mehta and AV Anoop under their respective banners E4 Entertainment and AVA Productions. The announcement got bigger when Basil announced the lead actors of the film, megastar Mammootty with his friend and Malayalam youth icon Tovino Thomas.

Interestingly, the 27-year-old director announced the update just minutes before his wedding as Basil got married to his long-time-girlfriend Elizabeth on Thursday. Basil took to his Facebook page to share the update.

" Greetings all. Today is Chingam 1 (Kerala New Year Day). Today is my wedding as well. I would like to share one good news I have received as my wedding gift. My next film will feature our own Mammookka (Mammootty) and Tovino in the male leads. The script will be written by Unni Chettan (Unni R) and will be bankrolled by Mukesh R Mehta, CV Sarathi, Mukesh R Mehta and AV Anoop under their banners E4 Entertainment and AVA Productions. Remaining details I will be update soon. I'm in a hurry. I'm going now to get married and will be back in the evening with my beautiful wedding snaps.
