Bollywood producer Sajid Nadiadwala's Friday release Judwaa 2 is running to packed houses in the cinemas across the Indian Box Office. The film had already grossed Rs 36 crore in two theatrical days at the Box Office.

Sajid Nadiadwala's upcoming film Baaghi 2 has recently commenced in Mumbai as well.

Directed by choreographer-turned-director Ahmed Khan, Baaghi 2 stars Tiger Shroff and Disha Patani in the main lead roles. The film is also a remake of the 2016 Telugu blockbuster Kshanam.

However, not many are aware of the fact that Sajid Nadiadwala was initially planning to cast Salman Khan in Baaghi 2. The super hit actor-director duo had watched Kshanam upon its theatrical release in 2016 and Sajid Nadiadwala wasted no time in acquiring the Hindi rights of the Telugu crime thriller. The story of Kshanam is about a US based NRI who comes to India in search for his ex-girlfriend's daughter. The makers were also planned to cast Nawazuddin Siddiqui to essay the main antagonist role in the Hindi remake.

Apart from Salman Khan, Shahid Kapoor's name was also touted as a strong contender to essay the lead role in the Hindi remake of Kshanam.

Baaghi is scheduled to hit the screens on 27 April 2018.
