Chennai box office: Vikram Vedha emerges as R Madhavan, Vijay Sethupathi's biggest grosser in 10 days

Husband-wife director duo Pushkar-Gayathri's recent Tamil film Vikram Vedha has continued its strong run on its second weekend at the Chennai box office. The suspense thriller, which had released on July 21st, has been showered with good reviews from the audience and critics alike. Vikram Vedha stars R Madhavan and Vijay Sethupathi in lead roles. Madhavan portrays an encounter specialist in the film whereas Vijay Sethupathi plays the role of a gangster.

In its second weekend, Vikram Vedha had minted Rs. 1.50 crore at the Chennai box office. The film has been retained in majority of the screens with nearly 290 shows in its second weekend. By the end of the second weekend, Vikram Vedha had minted Rs 4.75 crore at the Chennai box office. And with these 10-day collections, Vikram Vedha has emerged as the biggest grosser of Madhavan and Vijay Sethupathi's career.
