Chennai Box Office: Baahubali 2 rock steady on seventh weekend

The Tamil dubbed version of the SS Rajamouli blockbuster Baahubali: The Conclusion is still running strongly even on its seventh weekend at the Chennai Box Office. The war-drama, which had released on April 28 is unshakable in the Chennai city despite the release of many other Tamil films.

In its seventh weekend, the Tamil version of Baahubali 2 was screened with 75 shows with 80% occupancy across the Chennai Box Office. The Prabhas, Anushka Shetty starrer has collected nearly Rs. 17 lakh on its seventh weekend taking it's total collection to Rs. 16.25 crore at the Box Office. Baahubali 2 was also released in Telugu and Hindi languages along with Tamil and the combined collection of the film now stands at a whopping Rs.18.40 crore.

Going by the terrific theatrical run on its seventh weekend, Baahubali 2 has now every chances to emerge as the first Rs. 20 crore grosser at the Chennai Box Office.

Baahubali 2 also featured Rana Daggubati, Ramyakrishnan, Sathyaraj, Nassar and Tamannaah Bhatia.
