In an exclusive interview to Catch, the talented actress had confirmed that she's making her much-awaited Malayalam debut with Thrissivaperoor Kliptham. Shilpi also added that she will be joining the film sets by 1 November and will portray the character of a top film actress in the film.

Speaking to Catch, Shilpi said,

"Yes, I'm making my Malayalam debut with Thrissivaperoor Kliptham. It has always been my dream to feature in a Malayalam film, as Mollywood films are well-known for their quality stories. I'm playing an actress' role in the film. It's a performance-oriented role as well. I can't reveal much about the film, but all I can say is I was amazed after reading the script. The script is written by PS Rafeeque, the writer of blockbuster film Amen. I will start shooting for the film by 1 November."

The music of Thrissivaperoor Kliptham has been composed by Bijibal while the cinematography is by Swaroop Philip. The film also stars Aparna Balamurali, Chemban Vinod and Baburaj.
