Catch Exclusive: Faisal Saif, Kavita Radheshyam's Balaa trailer promises a scary experience

The trailer of Faisal Saif's Balaa will be launched officially next week in Mumbai. Catch News got an exclusive glimpse of the theatrical trailer and it looks like the film could a 'desi' version of Hollywood blockbuster, The Exorcist.

Touted as a Bengali-Hindi bilingual, the film stars popular Kannada actress Kavita Radheshyam as the main lead. The film also marks the Indian film debut of popular Bangladeshi actor, Nirab Hossian.

The one-minute and fifty-six second trailer introduces the lead cast of the film, Kavita Radheshyam, Nirab Hossain, and veteran Bollywood actress Amita Nangia. However, the main highlight of the Balaa trailer is Baby Tasmia who plays the ghost of the film and is sure to scare the audience with her terrific performance.

The trailer also shows the romantic subplot between Nirab and Kavita. Interestingly, popular Pakistani actress Meera essays an important role in the film and she will surely make the headlines once the film trailer releases officially.

Balaa will be released on the same date across Bangladesh as well. The film is slated to hit the screens next year on Valentine's Day, 14 February 2017.

Meanwhile, Kavita Radheshyam's Dussehra release, Kannada film Jaguar, hit the bull's eye at the Box Office. The Baahubali writer, K Vijayendra Prasad's film has so far collected a whopping Rs. 40 crore at the Box Office worldwide.
