Bairavaa to release on 12 January 2017

Here is some good news for Ilayathalapathy fans. Vijay's upcoming film, Bairavaa gets a release date. The film, written and directed by Bharathan, is touted to be an action-family entertainer. The film marks the third collaboration of Vijay - Bharathan duo. Bharathan has earlier directed Vijay in his first dual role movie Azhagiya Tamil Magan. He had penned the script for Vijay's 2004 hit film Ghilli as well.

On Monday evening, apart from announcing the release date, MS Saravanan said the music album will be released on 20 December.

Bairavaa stars Keerthy Suresh - of Remo fame as female lead. The film also stars Jagapati Babu, Aparna Vinod, YG Mahendraa and Daniel Balaji. The music of the film has been composed by Santhosh Narayanan, of Kabali fame.
