Baahubali, Bajrangi Bahijaan writer K V Vijayendra Prasad to write script for Akshay Kumar's Rowdy Rathore 2

The 2012 Akshay Kumar starrer, Rowdy Rathore was a big hit. Directed by Prabhudeva and produced by Sanjay Leela Bhansali under his banner SLB films, the film had Akshay in dual roles, as DIG Vikram Rathore and Shiva. Rowdy Rathore also starred Sonakshi Sinha and Nassar.

Sanjay Leela Bhansali had recently announced that Rowdy Rathore 2 will definitely starts rolling soon. Now we hear that none other K V Vijayendra Prasad, the writer of Baahubali series and Salman Khan's Bajrangi Bhaijaan, has been roped in to write the script for Rowdy Rathore sequel.

K V Vijayendra Prasad stated in an interview;

"Yes, I'm writing the sequel for Akshay Kumar's Rowdy Rathore. I am still working on the story. It's too early to share details about the story and the cast. To take ahead the story of hugely popular films is no easy task. It's difficult to crack down on an idea that has a good plot line and is entertaining as well. This is the first sequel for me, so I am looking forward to it".

Apart from Rowdy Rathore, K V Vijayendra Prasad is also writing the sequel to Anil Kapoor's Nayak.
