Here's another achievement for the makers of Baahubali: The Beginning and Bajirao Mastani: After winning most of the National Awards this year, the epic historical films are now among four Indian films selected to be screened at BRICS (Brazil, Russia, India, China and South Africa) film festival in September 2016.

Last year, during the conclusion of BRICS summit, Prime Minister Narendra Modi had suggested conducting a film festival by screening four films each from Brazil, Russia, India, China and South Africa to bridge the break between the BRICS' nations. He also added that this can be done only by showcasing arts and cultures among the BRICS nations.

Apart from the SS Rajamouli and Sanjay Leela Bhansali films, Kannada film Thithi and Bengali film Cinemawallah have also selected to be screened at the BRICS film festival.
