The much-awaited film of 2017, SS Rajamouli's Baahubali : The Conclusion is six months away from its theatrical release, but the film has already started setting records.

It has been confirmed that Great India films and Arka Media Works, the top two leading distributors, have acquired the overseas rights of Baahubali 2 for a whopping price. While official figures are yet to be revealed, as per Tollywood media reports, the overseas rights of the film have been sold for a massive price of Rs. 45 crore.

What's more? With this deal, Baahubali 2 has emerged as the film with highest overseas price in India. The overseas rights of the Prabhas- Rana Daggubatti starrer have fetched more than the likes of Rajinikanth's Kabali, Aamir Khan's PK and Salman Khan's recent blockbuster Sultan.

Meanwhile, the shooting of Baahubali 2 is nearing its completion in Hyderabad. Apart from Prabhas and Rana, the film also stars Anushka Shetty, Tamannaah Bhatia, Ramya Krishnan and Sathyaraj in pivotal roles. Baahubali 2 is slated to hit the screens on 28 April 2017.
