The official trailer of Malayalam film Mudhugauv is out. The trailer, attached with the final prints of actor Vijay's Theri, has become an instant hit with the audiences.

Mudhugauv will mark the debut of the film's director Vipin Das. The film also has fresh faces in the form of the leads, Gokul Suresh - son of Malayalam superstar Suresh Gopi - and Arthana Binu - daughter of veteran actor Vijayakumar - who will play characters named Bharath and Ganga, respectively.

The title of the film, Mudhugauv (a word in Kannada to describe kiss) was first used on the big screen by Mohanlal in the 1994 Malayalam blockbuster Thenmavin Kombath. The trailer of Mudhugauv suggests that the film revolves around the life of a 'serial kisser'.

The one-minute-thirty seconds trailer also features Soubin Shahir, Vijay Babu, Indrans, Baiju, Abu Salim and Prem Kumar.

Mudhugauv is a production by Vijay Babu and Sandra Thomas under the banner of Friday Film House in association with Carnival Motion Pictures. This is their second collaboration in Malayalam after Adi Kapyare Koottamani

The makers recently bagged the Kerala theatrical rights of Theri for a record-breaking price of Rs 5.60 crore. Attaching Mudhugauv trailer to the prints of Theri was a smart move as the Vijay-starrer had a massive release in Kerala on 200+ screens.

And thanks to the grand release of Theri, the Mudhugauv trailer has become the talk of the Mollywood industry now and is a hit across social media.
