Sarrainodu records highest opening week collection for Allu Arjun

Last week's release, Sarrainodu has completed the first week with rocking collections all over India. The Allu Arjun starrer ​collected a huge Rs 72 crore on it's opening weekend and has emerged the actor's highest opening week film.​ The action entertainer, which minted nearly Rs 50 crore on its opening weekend, had rock steady collections on weekdays, when it raked in Rs 20 crore ​from four days.

Sarrainodu has collected Rs 51 crore from Andhra Pradesh alone, Rs 9.50 crore from Karnataka and Rs 3 crore from other parts of India. The Boyapati Srinu​'s directorial venture was good in the overseas market too and earned Rs 8.50 crore in the first week. The second Friday has also started on a strong note, which indicates that the film is all set to cross the coveted Rs 100 crore mark soon.

Allu Arjun's huge fan base and super hit music by S Thaman has worked for the film.​ ​Sarrainodu also stars Rakul Preet Singh, Catherine Tresa, Aadi Pinisetty and Srikanth.​
