After 5 back-to-back flops, can Garuda with Vikram be the much-needed hit for Kajal Aggarwal?

Kajal Aggarwal is touted as one of the biggest female actors of the South Indian film industry. So far, apart from delivering some memorable performances in her 10-year acting career, she is one of the very few to have worked with the big heavyweights of Southern cinema including Vijay, Suriya, Allu Arjun, Jr NTR, Mahesh Babu, and Pawan Kalyan.

The Thuppakki actress has also impressed Bollywood audience with Rohit Shetty-Ajay Devgn's Singham and Neeraj Pandey-Akshay Kumar's Special 26.

However, Kajal Aggarwal is currently going through one of the toughest phases of her acting career. The actor's previous five films have failed at the Box Office. Her last commercial hit was a Telugu film, Temper, starring Jr NTR.

Out of her five films, three had released during the ongoing summer season. Kajal bagged two of the biggest Telugu films of the year: Pawan Kalyan's Sardaar Gabbar Singh and Mahesh Babu starrer Brahmotsavam. Both films were expected to do huge business at the Box Office. But, in what is bound to spell trouble for the Jilla actress, both films had bombed at the Box Office. Kajal's recent Bollywood release, Do Lafzon Ki Kahani, where she made headlines with her first onscreen lip-lock scene, also turned out to be a disaster at the Box Office.

Her upcoming film with Vikram, Garuda will be an acid test for the actress. Can Garuda be the much-needed hit to Kajal Aggarwal? We need to wait and watch.
