The Telugu dubbed version of Thalapathy Vijay's Diwali release Mersal finally gets a release date. The dubbed version titled Adirindhi was earlier scheduled to release along with its original version, but the delay in censorship has worked against the film to release simultaneously as Diwali release.

However, on Thursday, Adirindhi has cleared the censorship process and received a (U/A) certificate from the CBFC (Central Board Of Film Certification). Soon after the censorship process, the makers have announced the release date as 9th November. The film makers are planning to get the film released in good number of screens as the writer of the film, KV Vijayendra Prasad of Baahubali and Bajrangi Bhaijaan fame is a big house hold name across the twin Telugu states. Also, Vijay's stardom along with the presence of Kajal Samantha, Aggarwal and Nithya Menen will definitely help for the film to get a solid release at the Telugu Box Office.

Meanwhile, Mersal is continuing its terrific run at the Box Office worldwide. Directed by Atlee, the mass entertainer which starred the Tamil superstar in triple roles has so far crossed the coveted Rs. 200 crore at the Box Office worldwide.
