Adirindhi: Telugu dubbed version of Mersal had a rocking opening weekend, emerges Thalapathy Vijay's biggest Telugu opener

Tamil superstar Thalapathy Vijay's Diwali blockbuster Mersal has continued its glorious run at the Tamil Nadu Box Office. The action entertainer, directed by Atlee, is said to be the 100th film of popular Tamil production house Sri Thenandam Films. Mersal also starred Kajal Aggarwal, Samantha Prabhu and Nithya Menen in female leads.

While Mersal is doing rock steady collections even after completing 25 theatrical days, the Telugu dubbed version of the film Adirindhi has recorded excellent collections in its opening weekend.

On it opening weekend, Adirindhi has minted nearly Rs. 10 crore across the cinemas of Telangana and Andhra Padesh. The Thalapthy starrer is said to have minted Rs. 3 crore each on the first two days at the Tollywood Box Office. As per early Sunday trends, Adirindhi has clocked another Rs. 4 crore to its credit taking the opening weekend collections a whopping Rs. 10 crore mark.
