A Tribute to Thalaiva! Ice Age: Collision Course makers pay tribute to Rajinikanth's Kabali
Animated film Ice Age: Collision Course opened to viewers in India on 15 July.
The film, directed by Mike Thurmeier and and written by Michael J Wilson, is the fifth installment of Ice Age series.
Like the previous Ice Age outing, Continental Drift, Ice Age: Collision Course will have Ray Romano, John Leguizamo, Denis Leary, Queen Latifah, Keke Palmer, Jennifer Lopez, Simon Pegg and Chris Wedge to reprise their voices for their respective characters in the film.
Just before the release, the makers of Ice Age: Collision Course decided to impress the million fans of Rajinikanth across the globe with a special tribute to superstar's upcoming magnum-opus, Kabali. The makers released a mash-up of the Kabali song, Neruppa Da featuring the characters of film Manny, Sid and Diego. The one-minute and twenty seven-seconds video also showed different scenes of Thalaiva from Kabali.
Meanwhile, Kabali is all slated to have a wide release on 22 July 2016. The Pa Ranjith directorial also stars Radhika Apte and Dhansika.
