1971 Beyond Borders : Mohanlal's war drama to have Mammootty's voice over

Mohanlal's upcoming film 1971 Beyond Borders is one-week away for its theatrical release. Directed by Major Ravi and produced by Haneef Mohammed, the war-thriller stars Mohanlal in dual roles as the father-son duo — Major Sahadevan and Major Mahadevan. 1971 Beyond Borders is set in two time periods and depicts the story of India – Pakistan war of 1971.

Catch had previously reported that the Telugu dubbed version of the film is also slated to be released simultaneously along with its original version.

And now, the makers had revealed an interesting update on 1971 Beyond Borders.

The Mohanlal starrer will also have Mammooty's voice-over in the film. Yes, Mammookka has given his given a voice over in 1971 Beyond Borders. The news came as a huge surprise for the fans of two superstars, especially for Mammooty fans as the actor's The Great Father got released today. The both Big M's of Malayalam cinema had earlier collaborated for about 50 plus films.

1971 Beyond Borders stars Asha Sharath in the lead, and marks the Malayalam debut of Telugu actor Allu Sirish and Bollywood actor Arunodhay Singh. The film also stars Renji Panicker, Saiju Kurup, Priyanka Agrawal, Srushti Dange, Neha Khan and Zoya Zayed Khan.

1971 Beyond Borders will hit the screens on 7 April 2017.
