Congress leader Raj Babbar on Tuesday hit back at his BSP opponent from Fatehpur Sikri Guddu Pandit, stating that there is no competition with a person who shows "no decency" while speaking.

Babbar's remark comes a day after Pandit threatened to "thrash" the Congress leader and his supporters if they spread false information.

"There is no competition with a person who shows no decency while speaking and uses bad language. I don't want to give any message to Guddu Pandit," Babbar said while speaking to ANI.

Taking on Pandit for his "indecent language", Babbar added: "His parents would have given him advice. If it did not reach him then what is Raj Babbar's status to say anything to him. (Unke mata-pita ne unko nasihat di hogi,wo un tak nahi pahuchi to Raj Babbar ki kya aukat ki unko kahe?)"

In a video of an election rally, Pandit, while referring to Babbar's supporters as "dogs", was heard saying he would boot the Congress leader and his "middlemen" if they spread lies among the public.

"Sunn lo Raj Babbar ke kutton, tumko aur tumare neta nachaniya ko dauda dauda ke jooton se maarunga jo jhoott faelaya samaaj mein. Jahan milega, Ganga maa ki saugandh tujhe jooton se maarunga, tujhe aur tere dalaalon ko (Listen Raj Babbar's dogs, I will beat you and your leaders with shoes if lies are spread in the society. Wherever I find you, I swear on Ganga I will beat you and your middlemen with shoes," Pandit said at a rally in Fatehpur Sikri on Monday.

Lok Sabha elections in Uttar Pradesh are being held from April 11 and will go on till May 19 in all seven phases. Counting of votes will take place on May 23.
